Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets

This 2 hour course will provide the knowledge and hands-on practice needed to hand code a Cascading Style Sheet. Registration is free and required. Course is open to faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.

Prerequisites

• Have experience and knowledge of HTML or have completed iTAC's Basic HTML course.
• Be comfortable working with Windows operating systems
• Have experience and knowledge of the Web environment.

Objectives

Upon the completion of this session you should be able to:

• Read and interpret style sheet syntax
• Identify types of style sheets and styles
• Create and apply style sheets to a web page
